Surender Reddy elected president of Telangana high court advocates’ association
Hyderabad: S Surender Reddy was elected as president of the Telangana High Court Advocates Association in the election held on the high court premises on Thursday.While five advocates contested for the president's post, Surender Reddy secured the seat with 1,396 votes. DL Pandu, with 1,227 votes, was elected as the vice-president, P Sravan Kumar Goud and Niranjan Reddy K were elected as secretaries and Balaji Banoth was elected as treasurer. The association elections are held annually.The remaining posts, including joint secretary, sports and cultural secretary, senior executive committee member, women's executive committee member, and general executive committee members, were also elected during the election. The newly elected executive body will assume office in the first week of April.
