HYDERABAD/WARANGAL:
Telugu Desam Party would move a no-confidence motion against the Kiran Kumar Reddy government in the coming assembly session, party politburo member Kadiyam Srihari said.
Speaking to reporters in Warangal on Monday, Srihari said the Kiran government is in minority after the submission of resignation letters by the Jagan group MLAs. He demanded that the chief minister resign immediately as he has no moral right to continue in the post.
Srihari appealed to the governor to dissolve the Congress government immediately as Kiran had lost the majority members' support.
He asked the governor to convene a special session of the assembly for moving the no-confidence motion against the Kiran government.
He said party president Chandrababu Naidu had decided to move the no-confidence motion as people of the state were fed up with Kiran government's policies and its failure to provide able administration.
He said Chiranjeevi merged his PRP into Congress with a view to making riches.
