Tollywood goes into shock

HYDERABAD: Grief and shock spread through the Tollywood circles as soon as the news of Uday Kiran's suicide came out on Monday and film personalities expressed sadness over the untimely demise. Music director R P Patnaik described Uday Kiran as a self-made star. "Uday, you should not have done that. You still have many fans who like you for what you are. There was still a career to move on.Committing suicide is not a solution for a struggle. You should have fought till the audience realised that you are a self-made star. Our songs have been all-time super hits. You will remain in the hearts of the people forever," he wrote on a social networking site. Actress Vimala Raman said Uday was her first co-star and described him as a sweetheart. "You will be missed," she said.
Actor Prakash Raj also said he was "extremely disturbed". "What was wrong young man? Sad! Shouldn't we find reasons to live?" he said.
