IMPHAL: Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh on Friday told the assembly that if people staying on rent want to get enrolled as voters, it should be compulsory for them to provide their address details and the authorization certificates issued by house owners.
Biren was responding to a question raised by Congress legislator Kh Joykishan Singh who asked whether a person residing outside his/her home constituency can be enrolled as a voter in the constituency of current residence.

Responding to another question raised by Congress MLA Surjakumar Okram, the CM said the earnings from GST in the year 2017 (July to December, 2017) was Rs 301 crore.
