GUWAHATI: A sub-divisional police officer was shot dead by suspected militants at Manipur's Moreh town, which is along the Indo-Myanmar border.
Police suspect that officer Chingtham Anand was shot dead by a sniper.
The incident took place at around 9.30am when Anand was on duty and was inspecting a newly constructed helipad in the town.
