Daly hosts Youth Parliament
Indore: Over 200 delegates from different schools across the globe took part in committee sessions with the hope of fostering youth power and making a difference during the first day of three-day Youth Parliament at Daly College on Friday.
The conference with the theme of 'Youth Power' began with the opening ceremony at Dhirubhai Ambani Auditorium in the presence of Sidharth Singh, principal of Emerald Heights Indore.

The ceremony began with the invocation, "Shanti Stotram" by Pratyusha Nyati and Aryaman Simhal. The cultural program began after the lighting of the lamp. It comprised a classical dance performance by the students of DC. A song based on the theme of child labour, composed and sung by Satwik Verma and Cammond Everette of DC was appreciated by the gathering. There was a video screened on the preparation of the Daly College Youth Parliament. The dignitaries then handed over the gavels to the chairpersons of the various committees.
Secretary general Vaibhav Parekh then declared the conference open. The opening ceremony was conducted by Guneet Chhabra and Tanya Singh.
