INDORE: Indore bench of Madhya Pradesh high court, on Monday, ordered state government to file a reply before court within two weeks, on the role of industry minister Kailash Vijayvargiya and BJP MLA Ramesh Mendola in an alleged attempt to murder case on advocate Sohanlal Nagar.
The order of the court came over a writ petition filed by advocate Nagar against the two leaders.

Nagar said, in the month of August this year, when he was returning from Dewas to Indore in his private car, a truck hit his vehicle from behind intending to kill him. After a brief chase, he however managed to catch the truck driver Anil Pal, who revealed that the industry minister Kailash Vijayvargiya and MLA Ramesh Mendola had 'assigned' him the job.
Nagar stressed that he approached the police, but they refused to file the case of attempt to murder against the duo. He even approached Indore high court bar association with his complaint. Finally he filed a writ petition on October 17 and the court passed the orders asking the state to file the reply.
Advocate Nagar is fighting cases involving Sugnidevi land scam and other land scam cases on behalf of petitioner and former Congress minister Suresh Seth, in which Vijayvargiya and Mendola are accused. Recently, Mendola and 17 others have been charge-sheeted in Sugnidevi land scam case, while Vijayvargiya has been given clean chit by the Lokayukta police. Following this, Nagar, on the behalf of petitioner Suresh Seth, had filed a fresh petition to include Vijayvargiya as well.
