2 brothers among 4 killed as SUV hits bike in Jhalawar
Kota: Four people, including two brothers, were killed after the bike in which they were travelling hit by an SUV on Link Road near Karanpur village under Gangdhar police station area in Jhalawar district Friday.The deceased have been identified as Naresh Meena (20), Khemraj Meena (35), his brother Lachiram Meena (23), all residents of Salumber district, and Rajpal Singh Rajput (30) of Mandsour in Madhya Pradesh. All of them were working as labourers in Jhalawar.

According to deputy superintendent of police Hament Gautam, the accident took place in the evening when all the four men were returning from work on a motorbike when an SUV hit their bike head-on. "The collision was so severe that the bike was smashed and all the four men were fatally injured," he said.On receiving information about the accident, the police rushed to the spot and transported all the four injured to hospital, where doctors declared them dead.SHO Amernath Yogi said that the SUV driver was arrested, his vehicle was seized and he was booked under relevant sections. "The bodies of the deceased have been handed over to their respective family members after post-mortems Saturday and further investigation is underway," he said.
