7.5k ltr spurious ghee seized in Jodhpur

Jodhpur: The Commissioner Special Team (CST) on Saturday raided a ghee supplier and seized 7,500 litres of spurious ghee. Police, acting on information, reached the spot and recovered palm oil, tins filled with different varieties of ghee, and printed wrappers of several well-known brands from the warehouse.Police said Naveen Kumar (38) was detained from the spot, and an investigation has been initiated into where and for how long the spurious ghee was supplied.
CST in-charge and Sub-Inspector Mehraj Tanwar said the unit, Harshit Enterprises, operating in Anganwa Nandpuri Yojana under the Mandore police station area, was raided following a tip-off."We seized 350 tins of ghee of different brands and 150 tins of mixed palm oil, along with about 7,500 litres of spurious ghee from this unit," Tanwar said.
