Merta’s Shyam Bajaj gets King’s Award

Jaipur: A native of Merta city, Shyam Bajaj, recently received King’s Award for International Trade 2023 at a royal reception held at Buckingham Palace, London. Bajaj has carved a remarkable path from humble beginnings to building a flourishing business empire in England. He is the youngest Indian to receive the award.
The distinguished event was hosted by King Charles III, who extended personal congratulations to Bajaj.He presented King Charles III a beautifully crafted golden photo frame of Meera Bai, the great saint from Merta, his hometown.
The King was captivated by the life story of Meera Bai, which has left an indelible mark on the Indian culture. The personal handover of Meera Bai's photo frame at Buckingham Palace was a moment beyond words for Bajaj.
