JAIPUR: These days, a poster war is on in Barmer. Posters having photos of BJP vice president Om Prakash Mathur and PM Narendra Modi were put up in the city during chief minister Vasundhara Raje's visit.
Mathur expressed surprise over his posters in Barmer and condemned this act by calling it a conspiracy to malign the party.
The posters of Mathur read, "Let Bihar elections get over, Om Mathur will come and bring prosperity to Rajasthan."
Speaking over phone, Mathur said he is surprised over the posters.
"No worker of BJP could do this. This act could be a conspiracy to cause damage to the party," he said. Mathur added, "The party at present has given me an important responsibility and my attention is on that work. For the last 10 days, I was in my village. During Navratras, I was on maun vrat (observing silence). I was not in contact with anybody. By putting the photos of PM and writing such slogans, someone has tried to defame the party. I condemn this act."
