Rajasthan: Baran man beaten to death over land row

A 40-year-old man, who was rushed to Baran hospital following attack by his elder brother and two nephews over a land dispute, succumbed to injuries on late Monday night. The deceased man has been identified as Radheshyam Meena, a resident of Mandlibharuji village under Seeswali police station of Baran district.

KOTA: A 40-year-old man, who was rushed to Baran hospital following attack by his elder brother and two nephews over a land dispute, succumbed to injuries on late Monday night.
The deceased man has been identified as Radheshyam Meena, a resident of Mandlibharuji village under Seeswali police station of Baran district.
Radheshyam was returning home from field on Monday evening.

A scuffle over land dispute erupted between him and his elder brother Narotam Meena following which Narotam and his two sons attacked Radheshyam with sharp weapons and sticks causing him critical injuries and fled, said Seeswali police station SHO Rajpal Singh. Singh said, on information of the attack, Radheshyam's family members reached the spot and rushed him to Baran district hospital where he succumbed to injuries during treatment on late Monday night.
The police handed over the body to family members after postmortem on Tuesday morning, he added.
