Swachh Survekshan inspections begin across Jaipur
Jaipur: A four-member team from Delhi arrived in Jaipur Friday to conduct inspections under Swachh Survekshan 2025. On the first day, the team visited the Murlipura and Jhotwara zones, inspected sanitation arrangements and interacted with residents to gather feedback on cleanliness and civic services.
The team will continue inspections across various city zones over the next three days. Officials will assess visual cleanliness, door-to-door waste collection, waste segregation, maintenance of public toilets and water management systems.
This year’s rankings will be based on a total of 12,500 marks. Parameters such as public awareness, welfare of sanitation workers and citizen participation will play a key role in the final score. Of the total marks, 1,000 have been earmarked for citizen feedback.
Additional marks will be awarded for Garbage Free City (GFC), ODF Plus-Plus and Water Plus certifications.
