Trader Ravi Agarwal survived a shooting at Kanderbera Chowk. His wife, Jyoti, was fatally shot. The couple, along with their children, were returning home when unidentified assailants attacked them on NH-33.

Jamshedpur: A trader had a narrow escape while his 37-year-old wife was shot dead when unidentified assailants opened fire on the couple at Kanderbera Chowk on NH-33 under the Chandil police station limits in Seraikela-Kharsawan district on Friday.
Plywood trader Ravi Agarwal and Jyoti, along with their two children, were returning to their Sonari Astha Hitech Tower residence in a car from a restaurant when the shooting happened.

Agarwal said two masked men armed with pistols waylaid their car when he stopped at the roadside to help Jyoti, who was feeling nauseous. One of the armed men shot at him from point blank range shortly after the window glass was rolled down, but the pistol got stuck.
