JAMSHEDPUR: A 35-year-old man hacked to death his two minor daughters in a drunken state on Monday night at Parsabahal village in West Singhbhum. The accused, Budhan Singh Bodra, slit the throat of his daughters - Neema (6) and Hiramuni (8) - with a sickle, police said.
Keraikela police station in-charge, Deepak Christian, said that Bodra's wife Raimuni saved herself by fleeing out of the house.

"She shouted for help when a few neighbours rushed out, but it was too late by then as both the children were dead," he said. "The accused is mentally unstable," the OC added.
"The accused has not yet disclosed the motive behind the murders. Interrogations are on," the OC said.
