Two JSR teens drown in Subarnarekha

Jamshedpur: Two teenagers from Kadma drowned in Subarnarekha river in adjoining Kapali police station limits in Seraikela-Kharsawan district on Tuesday.
The deceased have been identified as Karanveer Singh (15) and Adarsh Pandey (14), both residents of Anil Surpath in Kadma. Six boys had gone to Sapda village in Kapali for a picnic on the banks of Subarnarekha river.
“Three boys went into the river for a bath. Two drowned and the third one was saved by local fishermen,” said Kapali police station in-charge Sandeep Kumar.

Five-year-old girl drowns in sump

A five-year-old girl named Shahida Banu accidentally drowned in a sump at Bagalagunte, northwest Bengaluru. Shahida was the fourth daughter of mason Syed Hussain and homemaker Nastina Banu from Mallasandra. The tragedy occurred at 6pm when Shahida went missing. She was found inside the sump of a neighbouring house. Despite being shifted to a hospital, doctors declared her brought dead.

Nashik police extern two criminals, Ayub Abbas Ali Shaikh and Sagar Kamble, due to continuous criminal activities in the city. The criminals harassed women, threatened people, and created fear in the Ambad and Nashik Road area. In addition to the externment, police detained two persons under the Maharashtra Prevention of Dangerous Activities (MPDA) Act. Strict action will be taken against such elements.
