KANPUR: Two persons including a 15-year-old teenager were killed while around a-dozen others sustained serious injuries in a road mishap under the Sachendi police station here on Wednesday. According to reports, the police identified those killed as Ravi Dubey, son of Awdhesh Dubey, a resident of Barai in Kanpur Dehat and Ram Pyari, wife of Vishambhar of Sikandara.
According to the police, the incident took place while the Tata magic vehicle was on its way to Kanpur when it rammed into a stationary truck parked by the road side near Orient resort in Bhaunti area.
The accident was of such a magnitude that the bodies of the victims got stuck inside the Tata-magic vehicle and were later removed by the police. The injured were identified as Rahul Radha, Savitri, Jai Singh, Kallu, Lallu, Tarun and five others, who were admitted to various city hospitals, where the doctors stated their condition to be stable.
