Kanpur: Acting on complaints of encroachment on village roads, the revenue department carried out a drive to remove illegal occupation on chak roads in Khargapur and Imalipur villages of Sadar tehsil.The action was led by SDM Sadar Anubhav Singh, who, along with his team, reached the spot and conducted an on-site inspection. During the inspection, officials found that the chak roads were obstructed due to encroachment and immediately initiated action to clear the passage and restore smooth movement for residents.Officials said the operation ensured that the roads were restored for public use without delay, providing relief to villagers who had been facing difficulties due to the blocked road.SDM Sadar Anubhav Singh said illegal occupation on public roads and revenue land would not be tolerated under any circumstances. He emphasised that strict and swift action would continue against encroachers to ensure that the public does not face inconvenience in commuting.
