Jhansi girl cracks UPSC in 3rd try

Jhansi: City girl Ayushi Sijeria, 25, was selected in the UPSC exams, the results of which were declared on Friday. She got 914 rank and was selected on her third attempt.The daughter of a railway employee, Ayushi lives in the Khati Baba area of the city. She did her entire schooling in Jhansi and then completed her engineering in the electrical branch from NIT Allahabad in 2022.
"Since completing my school, I aimed to crack UPSC. After completing my engineering, I concentrated fully on the preparation and got success on my third attempt," Ayushi said. She also said that at times she felt dejected but got full support from her family.Back at home, there was jubilation among family members, while neighbours and friends started pouring in to congratulate Ayushi and her family on the success.
