JHANSI: The Government Railway Police arrested a man with two country-made bombs in Chitrakoot on Monday. The accused has been booked under the Explosives Act.
As per police reports, the accused, identified as Mukesh Yadav, is a resident of Karvi in Chitrakoot. Yadav was seen loitering around the railway station, when the police intercepted him during a surprise check.
The accused said two people told him to keep the bombs with him for a day and they would come back the next day to get the bombs.
SP Chitrakoot, DP Singh, said, "We have arrested the accused and have lodged a case against him under various sections of the Explosives Act. We are further interrogating whether he has some other connections."
