Kochi: Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) launched a medical centre on its Thrikkakara campus. Cochin Shipyard Ltd (CSL) chairman and managing director Madhu S Nair inaugurated the centre on Tuesday evening in the presence of vice-chancellor K N Madhusoodanan, pro-vice-chancellor P G Sankaran, registrar V Meera, syndicate members, staff and students of the university.
The eight-bed facility, built in the Student Amenity Centre at an estimated cost of Rs 23.75 lakh, was provided by CSL under its corporate social responsibility initiative.
