KOLHAPUR: Arms dealer Manish Nagori, who had allegedly accepted a "supari" to eliminate Navi Mumbai-based developer
Suresh Bijlani, surrendered before Shahapur police here on Wednesday night.
He was arrested in connection with the illegal sale and possession of weapons. A local court remanded him in police custody for five days.
The Kolhapur police were in search of Nagori for last two months since they arrested Swapnil Fatale for possessing a pistol, two magazines and eight live rounds.
During interrogation, Fatale told the police that Nagori had given him a "supari" of Rs 2 lakh to murder Bijlani, who is currently lodged in Arthur Road Jail for his alleged role in the murder of his rival developer Sunil Lahoriya. Bijlani was shifted to Arthur Road jail from Thane jail in September.
