Valentine's Day in a unique way. The cops handed over red roses, sweets, teddy bears and letters to two men who wrote "objectionable" posts on social media.
On the morning of 14 February, few policemen of Raiganj gifted Valentine's Day special gifts to Bubul Chakroborty and Shankar Roy.
Bubul is the resident of Ukilpara of Raiganj and Shankar stays at Sukantpally.
Both of them wrote some indecent comments about the police on Facebook. Police could have taken legal action against them but they chose the way of 'Gandhigiri' to set an example.
Cops took out a band and rallied to the house of the offenders. Family members of Bubul and Shankar were very pleased with this gesture shown by the police and admitted that their sons have done wrong.
"Police is a part of society. Mistakes happen. But we want to spread the message that you may criticize us, but don't use indecent remarks," said Shyam Sing, a police official.
