Third edition of Calicut Flea market begins

KOZHIKODE: Third edition of Calicut Flea market organised by the Malabar Art Collective commenced at the ground near the Thoppayil Beach recentally.
The three-day exhibition showcases dresses and jewellery items of well-known designers in the country. It also showcases handicraft items, footwear, decorative items and cosmetics items. The market also showcases food courts of traditional and modern cuisines.
A total of 75 stalls of small enterprises have also put up at the Flea market.The programe aims to encourage new entrepreneurs. Musical programmes are also organised in the evening to enthral the audience. Film actress Prayaga Martin inaugurated the Calicut Flea Market. The flea market will be concluded on December 22.
