Athletica 2024 ends

Lucknow: Bronze medalist at the 2003 World Athletics Championships in Paris, Padmashri Anju Bobby George, graced 'Athletica 2024,' the Seth Anandram Jaipuria Group of Schools' annual inter-school sports championship at Guru Govind Singh Sports College on Saturday.
More than 400 students from 21 Seth Anandram Jaipuria Schools participated in various track and field competitions, as well as table tennis, badminton, and chess, across three age categories: Under 12, Under 14, and Under 17.
During her address, long jumper Anju Bobby George emphasised the importance of sports in education. She highlighted that sports nurture qualities such as teamwork, leadership, resilience, and perseverance.
The overall school championship was awarded to Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Amethi. The Trailblazer Trophy also went to Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Amethi, while the Trendsetter Trophy was claimed by Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur. The Dibiyapur branch walked away with the Titans Trophy.
