Bhajan clubbing adds dash of devotional to Food Valley
Lucknow: Drawing hundreds of devotees, largely youngsters, for an all-night celebration dedicated to Lord Shiva, a ‘Bhajan clubbing' programme titled Rangreza Festival was organised at Food Valley on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri on Sunday. The event began with chants of ‘Om Namah Shivaya' and ‘Har Har Mahadev', setting a spiritual tone. As the evening progressed, two bands performed bhajans infused with electronic and percussion beats, creating an atmosphere that was both devotional and energetic.
Visitors were seen singing along with the artists, while some grooved to the rhythm of drums. Bhajans such as ‘Hari Om Hari', ‘Om Namah Shivaya Har Har Bhole', ‘Jai Jai Hanuman' and ‘Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram' were performed.Festival founder Ashish Khare said the concept aimed to help the younger generation connect with faith in a contemporary format while keeping it exciting and engaging.
