LUCKNOW: Like their students, the teachers too were smiling. The teachers were happy about class X results and some of them believed that ‘CCE helped them build stronger bond with children'.
"There was a lot of activity in the classroom unlike before. We got a chance to explore children better. This revived the student-teacher bond and brought smiles for all," said JS Chauhan, principal, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Lucknow.

Nomita Wilson of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sitapur Road believed the same.
"I think teacher's involvement with students has finally paid, though the burden on teachers increased manifold. But, the teachers will be gainers in the longer run," she said. Teachers too didn't mind working extra. Manjula Seth, English teacher at Rani Laxmi Bai School, termed her Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) experience ‘superb'. She said, "We also enjoyed the plays, dramatics, quizzes, debates and so on. At times, I felt as if I was one of them," she said. Principal, Central Academy, Mala Saxena agrees with Manjula, and said, "Personality related realisations that have come through co-scholastic assessment will help children think beyond conventional realms of career."
