CDC to clean up Rajajipuram

lucknow: the much hyped programme of handing over of cleaning up work to a private agency was set rolling in the state capital on saturday. starting at rajajipuram, the lucknow nagar nigam (lnn) handed over the civic job to a jaipur-based private agency; centre of development communication (cdc) wherein the cdc would be responsible for all the clean up work at the area covering some 2000 houses. the programme was launched at a function by urban development minister lalji tandon. under the programme 1,900 people have already given their consent to entail the services of cdc at a nominal payment.
