Those arrested for Ritu's murder were identified as Ravi Verma alias Chunmun Verma, a resident of Chaupatiya under Saadatganj police station and Mehboob Khan, a resident of Khadra under Hasanganj police station.
The other two accused in the case, Ramesh Pasi and Amber, both natives of Sitapur, are absconding. Search is on to nab them, said DIG Rajeev Krishna. All the accused have a criminal history, said police.
Ravi, police said, has a jewellery shop in Dandaiya market.
Jeweller Ritu Sharma was shot dead near a grocery market in Sector 17 of Indiranagar on April 25. DIG confirmed loot was the motive behind Ritu's murder.
He said the police have recovered two motorcycles (UP 32 CQ 3632 and UP 72 1100), looted black bag and jewellery from the shop of Ravi. The accused had also looted Rs 10,000 from a trader in Sanjay Gandhi Puram.
Ramesh Pasi was, in fact, caught by a trader again at Sanjay Gandhi Puram when he along with his three aides tried to loot him on May 25.

Ghazipur police had arrested Ramesh and sent him to jail. But they were not aware that Pasi was involved in the murder of Ritu. It was Amber who actually shot dead Ritu, police said, adding that Amber even carried a reward on his head.
Chinhat police arrested two persons, Ramesh Kumar Kasaundha, a native of Gorakhpur and Vishal Chaudhary, a native of Sant Kabir Nagar for Ramsagar Pandey's murder. Pandey, according to the police, was strangulated on the intervening night of April 28 and 29 at village Semra.
Vishal, nephew of Pandey, eliminated the latter in order to grab his property, police said, adding: another accused in the case, Virendra, a resident of Semra village, was absconding.
