Doctor's son commits suicide

LUCKNOW: A 19-year-old student of a paramedical institute and son of a physician committed suicide by hanging himself at his house in Rajajipuram under Talkatora police station on Wednesday evening.
The student was identified as Abhishek Dubey, son of Dr Anan Prakash, a resident of E-block in Rajajipuram. Abhishek studied at Krishna Nursing and Para-Medical Institute.
On Wednesday evening, Abhishek closed the door of his room and hanged himself from the ceiling. On getting suspicious, the family members knocked at the door but did not get any response.
They then broke open the door and found Abhishek hanging. Abhishek's parents brought rushed him to the nearby Rani Laxmi Bai hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
The family then informed the police. The exact cause of Abhishek taking the extreme step could not be ascertained, police said.
