IIM-L turns 41, celebrates day with alumna as chief guest sharing her leadership story

Lucknow: The Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIM-L) celebrated its 41st foundation day by holding a series of special activities that highlighted the institute's appreciation for its community and commitment to fostering a supportive environment.On the occasion, director, training and employment, UP, Neha Prakash, who is also an IIM Lucknow alumna, was the chief guest.She acknowledged her learnings at IIM-Lucknow, including analytical thinking, ethical grounding, and empathy, which shaped her leadership style.Emphasising the transformative role of accessible and data-driven governance, she said, "The transition from corporate boardrooms to district headquarters imparted a singular truth: a genuine leader, regardless of the domain, must serve individuals with empathy, be anchored in ideals, and maintain composure throughout adversity."IIM-L director Prof MP Gupta said, "We are proud to celebrate the 41st foundation day of IIM Lucknow, a milestone that reflects our journey of academic excellence, innovation, and societal impact.
