LUCKNOW: The chairman and managing director of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) AM Naik called on Uttar Pradesh chief minister
Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday. During the meeting, the chief minister assured the L&T chief that the government would offer all possible assistance to investors in the state.
Akhilesh said the government is working towards providing all possible amenities to industries which want to invest in Uttar Pradesh.
“Industries have a huge market in the state and the government is keen to offer investment policies and infra-structure to the industrial sector to flourish. Work has already begun to set up an IT park, mega food park, logistics hub, plastic city and integrated industrial township,” Akhilesh said.
Naik also appreciated the steps taken by the UP government to boost the industrial sector and ensure an atmosphere which is conducive to industries. He said steps taken by the state government to attract investors had sent a positive message among investors.
