Police gunner of former minister shoots self
The police gunner of former minister and SP MLA Awadhesh Prasad committed suicide by firing at himself from his gun.
According to police officials, gunner Rann Bahadur (40) was living at a rented apartment in Kotwali city police station area of the district. The incident took place late on Thursday evening.
Faizabad SSP, RK Chaturvedi said that Rann Bahadur was drunk at the time of incident and he was having family dispute due to which he was very disturbed.
