LUCKNOW: Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav late Saturday night reshuffled portfolios allotted to various ministers in his cabinet. The exercise was done to accommodate 12 new ministers inducted on Thursday as well as to change departments of some existing ministers on the basis of their performance .
While Akhilesh relieved himself of two departments out of 63 he was heading as minister and shared burden of several departments with the newly inducted 10 minister of states, prominent cabinet ministers who were stripped of their existing departments or replaced with insignificant ones included Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiyya and Raja Aridaman Pratap Singh.

Of two departments , food & civil supplies and prison, Raja Bhaiyya, has now been left only with food & civil supplies.
