Travel agent, friend shot at

Lucknow: A 38-year-old travel agency owner and his friend were shot at in Malhaur area of Chinhat on Sunday night. Police said that according to eyewitnesses, two men came on a bike, and the one on the pillion started firing.
Taking advantage of the chaos, the shooters managed to run away.
"Police reached the spot and took the injured to hospital. The injured were identified as Ejaz Ahmed (38) and his friend Khaliq Ahmed (36)," deputy commissioner of police, east, Shashank Singh, said. Both are out of danger and responding to treatment, police said.
Police said the incident was the result of an old rivalry between the two groups on the day of Holi.
