Woman dupes friend of Rs 13 lakh, FIR lodged in Lucknow

LUCKNOW: A woman entrepreneur reportedly accused her long time acquaintance woman and business partner of duping her of Rs 13 lakh which she gave to her friend to bail her out of an unprecedented financial crisis in Hazratganj.
Complainant, Neha Arora'shusband Rohit was in liquor business and they developed good business relations with Bhawna Srivastava and her husband Kanchan Srivastava .In due course of time, Kanchan died in April 2021 and his wife's Bhawna's finances shattered badly. She demanded help of Rs 13 lakh from Neha and Rohit to get the renewal of the licences of the shops done.
The difference cropped when Neha and Rohit demanded back the money. "
SHO, Hazratganj, Akhilesh Mishra, said that an FIR has been registered.
