'Dutt's sentence is fine, what about bigger khalnayaks'

LUDHIANA: The Supreme Court's verdict upholding the conviction of actor Sanjay Dutt became a talking point among the city residents. While Munnabhai's diehard fans found the five-year sentence for illegal possession of weapons too hard for the actor, who they felt had no ill-intentions, several others maintained the verdict would go a long way in reaffirming common man's faith in judicial system.
There were many who felt the time had come when the authorities and judiciary should come down heavily on other influential people, including politicians, who despite being on wrong side of the law, get away more often.
