LUDHIANA: Baldev Singh Grewal of Sarabha Nagar celebrated his 75th birthday along with his family and friends on Monday evening. The party was organised by Baldev Singh's son ' Gurjivan who lives in Toronto, Canada. Baldev's wife Mohinderpal Kaur and her sister Jagdev Kaur were busy attending to guests and ensured that everyone was comfortable.
Gurjivan, who is pursuing his executive MBA from Kellogg School of Management, had specially arrived from Canada to celebrate the day.

Baldev Singh's elder daughter Ramandeep and her husband Inderjit Singh Gill, an advocate, their two children ' Anmol and Karan; his younger daughter Gurkiran, her husband Pirthipal Singh Heir, a senior police officer and their children ' Preetika and Arbaaz arrived with a chocolate cake. His daughter Amrinder and son-in-law Sangram Sandhu, who live in Brisbane, Australia, had sent a bouquet and a bottle of champagne for the occasion.
While Gurjivan's wife Praneet, daughters Nanki and Sabbie and son Jai along with mother-in-law Nirmaljit Khatra joined the party through video conferencing; his father-in-law Charnjit Singh Khatra, a transporter, had arrived from Chandigarh.
Gurjivan said that his father had turned 75 years old on April 4. ''I made sure that all relatives were invited to the party so that my father can feel special. Even the food served on the occasion was of my father's choice,'' he said.
Baldev's brother-in-law Narinderpal Singh Gill and his wife Gurinder too joined the celebrations. Baldev Singh Grewal said that it was one of the happiest days of his life. ''I would always remember this day and its memories would stay glued in my mind forever. I wish that my daughter Amrinder, her husband Sangram and my daughter-in-law Praneet and grandchildren Nanki, Sabbie and Jai had also joined us on this day,'' he said. Gurjivan's classmate and close friend Ajit Pal Singh Sandhu and his wife Gugu Mahal Sandhu were also present.
