Ludhiana chapter of IMA celebrates International Women's day

LUDHIANA: Indian Medical Association, Ludhiana (IMA Ludhiana), in association with Ludhiana Obstetric and Gynecology Society (LOGS), celebrated International Women's day on Wednesday at IMA House.
A CME on Obstetric and Gynaecology was organised to mark the day. Dr. Saroj Aggarwal and Dr. Deepak Bansal were the speakers on the occasion.
President of LOGS Dr. Saroj Aggarwal said, "Women are ahead in all fields these days, from political to social and she is strong promoter of gender equality.She added that India still has got male chauvinistic society and still has to go a long way to achieve good socio-economic status for the women."
Dr. Avinash Jindal, president IMA Ludhiana, proposed vote of thanks.
