LUDHIANA: Actor Jimmy Shergill surprised everybody on Sunday when he entered a cinema hall in Ludhiana during the screening of a movie. He was accompanied by the crew of his forthcoming movie that is scheduled to release on April 22. The actor was in the city to promote the film.
Driving a flashy Honda city car, sporting a white shirt and cap, Jimmy was a star everybody wanted to get a picture with.
While talking to TOI, Jimmy said that acting as an Air Force officer in the movie was one of the most memorable experiences for him. The best part for him was shooting at the Air Force station. Shergill was confident that the movie songs would also be a rave among the masses. According to him every Punjabi must watch this movie as it will fill them with feelings of patriotism. After giving two tremendous hits namely 'Mel karade rabba' and 'Tera mera ki rishta', director Navniat Singh has hopes pinned high from the movie. Apart from Shergill, Surveen Chawla, Ranvijay, Rahul Dev and Prem Chopra are also a part of the movie.
For the fans at the cinema hall it was a memorable moment as Jimmy surprised them to promote his movie.
'It was like a dream come true as Jimmy appeared before us in the movie and requested us to watch his movie. We will definitely watch it,' said Ravinder Singh, a resident of Sarabha Nagar.
