Sexually assaulted minor recovers

MANGALORE: The minor girl, who allegedly attempted suicide after being sexually assaulted by a man at Lingappayyakadu near Mulky, is said to be out of danger.
The 14-year-old girl from Dharwad girl had consumed liquid containing chemicals that kills lice and is undergoing treatment at a private hospital at Mukka near here.
Police have arrested Manjunath, a driver, who was absconding after the incident.The girl's parents are working as daily wage labourers near Mulky. A case has been registered at Mulky police station.
