Unlike each year, her birthday will not be limited to each district but will be celebrated in all the 403 vidhan sabha constituencies.”
Jatav said, “Demonetisation has already hit the people of the country and we do not want them to overspend to be a part of Maya’s birthday celebrations. To cut their travel costs at this time of cash crunch, her birthday will be celebrated in all the 403 assembly constituencies.”
“We know that the money that BSP has is collected by party workers. Though we might have to spend more by hosting so many events, we do not want the citizens of UP to spend on travel,” said Raviraj Singh, BSP Meerut zonal coordinator.
