MUMBAI: The Mukhya Mantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana is getting a spontaneous response from women and applications of 1.7 lakh women have been received so far in Mumbai city district and 1.3 lakh applicants have qualified. Mumbai City Collector Sanjay Yadav appealed for more women to apply.
Collector Shri. Yadav said a total of 75 help centres have been started at the ward level in Mumbai city district. 74 help centres have been started in 52 wards in 9 wards. The work of scrutinizing the application has been started by the Anganwadi Sevaka, Chief Sevaka and Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation System , District Women and Child Development Officer , Mumbai City Office System. For this, 1 War Room has been established at D Ward and under Integrated Child Development Project Officer. Also, Collector Sanjay Yadav informed that a control room has been set up in the collector's office
Chief Minister Youth Work Training Scheme
The Chief Minister's Youth Work Training Scheme has been launched to increase the employability of the youth by giving them practical job training after education . Through this scheme, the candidates will get real work experience and they will be given stipend as financial aid for this.
Under this scheme, private sector establishments and entrepreneurs can take candidates up to 10 percent of their total working manpower under this scheme. 20 percent of the total working candidates in the establishment for the service sector can be taken for Chief Minister Youth Work Training. Similarly, 5 percent of the approved posts in government, semi-government establishment industry corporations of the central and state governments can be taken for job training.
This scheme is being implemented through the District Skill Development Employment and Entrepreneurship Guidance Centre. Candidates and industrial establishments for this scheme should register on department website https://rojgar.mahaswayam.gov.in
