MUMBAI: Several bus services were diverted or suspended on Sunday due to Ganpati processions as idols were being brought to the pandal with celebrations.
This included bus route A-167 whose services were suspended at Sant Rohidas chowk on Sunday night due to
Ganesh idol arrival ceremony at Prabhadevi station Road, an official said. Seven other routes were diverted in Pratiksha Nagar due to a similar procession.
Bus services were diverted or curtailed in other areas such as Amrut Nagar in Ghatkopar, Rawalpad in Borivali, parts of Bhandup, Vikhroli Park Site, Dadar West, Rajendra Nagar in Borivali among other places, the official added.
