Brace for megablocks on Central Railway suburban today

Central Railway will operate a megablock in Mumbai on Sunday, impacting local train services on several sections. The block on the Main line will occur between Matunga and Mulund slow lines, while the Harbour line block will take place between Panvel and Vashi. Commuters may face service delays.

MUMBAI: Central Railway, will operate megablock today on its suburban sections carrying out various engineering and maintenance works and this could inconvenience commuters travelling by local trains.
On Main line, the block will be carried out on Matunga-Mulund slow lines from 11.05 am to 3.55 pm.
The Up slow line services departing Thane from 11.07 am to 3.51 pm will be diverted on fast line at Mulund, between Mulund and Matunga stations halting at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, Kurla and Sion and further re-diverted on UP slow line at Matunga station and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule
On Harbour line, the block will be on Panvel- Vashi lines from 11.05 am to 4.05 pm (Excluding Nerul / Belapur-Uran Port line). Special local trains will run on CSMT – Vashi section during the block period.
Trans-harbour line services will be available between Thane-Vashi/Nerul stations during the block period. Port line services will be available between Belapur / Nerul and Uran stations during the block period.
