MUMBAI: It was a riot of laughter when child television actors on Monday met their young fans suffering from life-threatening illnesses in Mumbai.
Bhavya Gandhi aka Tapu and Nidhi Bhanushali alias Sonu of the popular Hindi soap 'Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' played host to over 100 children suffering from cancer on Monday. The Children Day event organised at Sion hospital by Cox and King Foundation and Make A Wish Foundation saw the children taking selfies with the child actors.

The child artists happily posed with the children, helping them even get the best selfie.
The children had curious questions about how the child artists manage to juggle work and studies. The children confided how they laugh at the antics of 'Tapu Sena' in the serial.
The cheers on the faces of the children suffering from life-threatening diseases brought joy even to their parents. Mothers watched as their children played and danced with the stars. Karan Anand, Head, Relationships, Cox & Kings said, "Laughter indeed helps reduce pain and the children were filled with happiness while taking selfies with their favourite stars."
