Five Mumbai hospitals to treat senior citizens with Covid-19

BMC earmarked Kasturba, St George, SevenHills, Nanavati and Saifee hospitals for treatment of senior citizens and other referred patients who test positive for Covid-19.
Senior citizens are most vulnerable and have accounted for over 70% deaths in the city. It said the hospitals have manpower and infrastructure to handle severe cases. For asymptomatic patients aged below 60, maternity hospitals in Nagpada and behind Lilavati, PWD guest house in Andheri (W), diagnostic centre (Punjabi Galli), MCMCR (Powai), urban health centre (Shivaji Nagar) and M G Hall (opp Bandra Talao) have been designated.BMC also readied 186 more isolation beds at 5 civic hospitals.
