MUMBAI: Notorious gangster Ejaz Lakdawala, who was shot at by members of the Dawood Ibrahim gang in a Bangkok market on May 25, has done the disappearing trick from the Thai capital, police sources said on Tuesday.
News of the sensational escape has sent shockwaves through Dawood’s empire spread across India, Pakistan and the Gulf. It is not known to which country Lakdawala has escaped.
Dawood’s top lieutenant Chhota Shakeel had meticulously planned the attack on Lakdawala, who had emerged as a major rival in extorting money from Bollywood personalities and builders.
