MUMBAI: The two servants and their two friends, who killed a 43-year-old housewife and her maidservant in Juhu recently, were nabbed by the Oshiwara police from Nerul in Navi Mumbai.

The four accused have been identified as Teksingh Badila, Ramsingh Badila, Prem Bahadur and Raju Nepali and cash totalling Rs 50,000 has been recovered from them.
Deputy police commissioner (zone 9) Pratab Dighavkar confirmed the arrest but refused to divulge the details saying that police commissioner Arup Patnaik will be holding a news conference on Sunday. On August 30, housewife
Kavita Suchak (43), and her domestic help, Prashant Bagve (35), were found murdered in their plush flat in Jai Jagdish Society on road number 5 at JVPD Scheme at the upmarket of Juhu. Kavita's husband, Yogesh, a financial consultant was in the US for his office work
and their children were in school at the time of the murder. On Tuesday evening, Kavita's daughter suspected something amiss when she didn't get the regular call on her mobile from her mother. When the children reached home, they found the door locked and no one responding to the door bell or phone calls. They opened the door with the help of neighbours and found Kavita and Bagve in a pool of blood.
Kavita was found lying in the bathroom with serious injury mark indicating a injury caused by a blunt object . Bagve's body was found in a room near a locker. The accused had tied his legs and strangled him with a rope. During the course of investigations it was found that their servants namely Teksingh Badila and Ramsingh Badila, who worked for Suchak's for last few years were missing. The entire house was found ransacked and it was clear indication that murders were taken place out of a fight over robbery. The police believe that the men accused of allegedly killing Kavita Suchak and the servant, Prakash Bagve, waited for her children to go to school before killing the duo and ransacking the flat.

The Juhu police had formed three teams and had questioned around 32 domestic helps, mostly Nepalis, who worked in the vicinity to get more information about the accused.
"Now, we know that Teksingh and Ramsingh had called their friends Prem Bahadur and Raju Nepali a day prior to the murder. While Teksingh and Ramsingh were in the house the others kept a watch outside the house and also helped engage a taxi to flee after the crime was committed," a senior police officer said.
D K Rupwate, senior inspector of Oshiwara police station, who got the initial leads has solved several sensational cases during his stint with the crime branch. This is the second sensational murder in the suburbs in the recent involving servants
. On August 17, a domestic help and his accomplice murdered Aarti Chhablani (56) in Khar and tried to kill another servant after offering him a chocolate laced with sleeping pills. The police nabbed the accused for murder and robbery.
