Mask rule violation: ‘Murga’ march at Marine Drive

MUMBAI: Five men were forced to do the ‘murga walk’ for allegedly trying to enter the sea at Marine Drive on Monday, an official said.
A video of the incident was circulated on social media, claiming they were punished for not wearing masks, but senior inspector Vishwanath Kolekar of Marine Drive police station said they were endangering their lives.
The matter is being probed by senior officers and necessary action will be taken, the official said.
